Francis Guo

Name:  Francis Guo

Hello, everyone. My name is Yipeng Guo and you can also call me Francis. I graduated from Brooklyn in June 2019 and I’m currently a second-year students in the electronic computer engineering at University of Toronto., so I’m here today to talk about a few things about my experience in Brooklyn. Speaking of that. I really missed my family. So it’s on my mind and that one year was the best memories just like yesterday. So I can still finally recall my time in the dorm reading my favourite books and hang out with my friends. And I can also still remember those days. I spent in classroom discussing topics with my teachers and there were a lot, with Han, Asef and Noor. I’m with a group of wonderful people and I’m truly grateful to have come across.

So to myself, the learning environment at Brooklyn provided was really essential to my eventual success, throughout my high school career. So however, without the effort and help from the teaching staff and facility members also the achievement of mine will not be possible. So don’t worry, I believe Jennifer is still there and the guidance is still there. They are going to help you a lot with your university applying and I believe the like your daily supporters, like Hunter. They’re going to support you with your daily life, so don’t worry about your daily life; put your effort and work. And since I’ve become a student at Brooklyn, I practiced the numerical, like a lot of co-curricular activities and academic contexts. So in this sense, Brooklyn also stepping me strong that’s granted me access to a broader and more diverse life, and it opens a door for me for many more opportunities. Yeah, so and after spending my grade 12 at Brooklyn, I was accepted by University of Toronto electronic computer engineering facility and with academic standing of 96%. But once again, without those my teachers, residence and my life supporter Hunter. They really supported me a lot. I would like to emphasize that all this wouldn’t be possible without their help. So I’m here to say thank you to all of you and thank you for your support. Yeah, and my fellow students, personal goal is still possible for you to achieve like those Top Gear facilities and programs like a program to Universal of Toronto or like were computer science in Waterloo. Yeah, by the way, I was rejected by Waterloo, but don’t be disappointed by one rejection. This is normal. So yeah, have a good day there and I wish I can see you in the University of Toronto next year.
