During the traditional Chinese festival of Chinese New Year, Brooklyn College prepares dumplings for Chinese students to give them a Chinese New Year experience filled with the flavour of the year when they are in a foreign country.
On New Year’s Eve, 9th February, Brooklyn teachers and students celebrated Chinese New Year together. The college partners came from all over the world, and many of them celebrated New Year overseas for the first time, but no matter where they came from, Brooklyn would give full care to every student.
We tried our best to create the warmth of home for the students and let the students in foreign countries feel the Chinese New Year full of New Year’s flavour. All the teachers and students in the school in a joyful atmosphere while tasting dumplings and pay New Year’s greetings to each other.
