Brooklyn Awards & Scholarships

Two programs designed to reward academic readiness on arrival and commitment throughout your time at Brooklyn College.

Entry Scholarship

IELTS / TOEFL

Awarded to newcomers with strong English proficiency scores. The scholarship value is applied directly to the student account upon verification.

$800 Overall average 6.5 or above Score of 90 with writing 19+
$1,200 Overall average 7.0 or above Score of 100, no strand below 20
Important Notes
  1. Scores are based on the date of application to the school.
  2. Students who score below the threshold at application but meet it by registration are still eligible.
  3. English proficiency scores must be valid for a minimum of one year.
  4. Eligible candidates can only be awarded one of the above scholarships.
  5. Scholarship value is deposited directly to the student account and cannot be cashed out — except upon graduation with a balanced account.

Continuous Enrolment Scholarship

Gr. 7–11

Rewarding students from Grades 7–11 who remain enrolled at Brooklyn College. The longer the commitment, the greater the award.
